Monday was King Kamehameha Day holiday for many in Hawaii (including me), and not only was it a relaxing day off, but I also got some of the best mail ever! Please excuse the overuse of exclamation points to follow.
I've been a fan of Tricia's work from the first time I visited her Frizzelstixs blog. Her work is chock full of the sweetest animal characters who are incredibly charming and fun. So when I saw that two of her paintings were available, I jumped leaped at the chance.
Hedgies!! Aren't they amazing?! And Tricia also included a hand carved snail stamp and some of her stickers! Thank you so much Tricia! I love it all so much!
It seems impossible that my mailman would bless me twice in one day but he also brought a package from Joyce as well!
The coolest monkey pouch, a beautiful tissue holder and Yoshimoto Nara goods!! Seriously, could there be a luckier duck than me? Thank you, thank you Joyce! And the day just kept on giving. Look at what my brother brought me, I mean Buddy, back from Iceland!
The only disappointment was that he told me there was an entire store devoted to Bjork. I would have loved something from there!
Sometimes I need to pinch myself because I just can't believe how many amazing artists and crafters I've had the priviledge of meeting since I started blogging. And to have actual things they've created to call my own is just icing on the cake. Thank you again Tricia and Joyce!
