I just found your site via Sew Mama Sew. And I now think I'm in make the best stuff! Thanks for the creative inspiration...I'm off to make gifts. I'll be back soon!

So lovely, Myra. These ladies totally have that retro Christmas angel vibe - we had a blonde one very similar when I was little! Except her hair was a fluffy and her eyes were sort of like a kewpie doll. She was on the tree for years, even though her head was half hanging off!!!!

When I saw these, they first reminded me of Flora, Fauna and Merryweather, the three good fairies from Sleeping Beauty. Perhaps this could be their job post holiday season.

Violette Crumble

Wow, these are really impressive, I love them.

love your crafts and your blogs is awesome well done

so cute! thanks for sharing!

they are beautifull!!!

I think you exactly got the retro look! They did a lot of re-use stuff back then too. I think the "buy all the elements" mentality started in the 80's. It's awful. In our Christmas crafting center, I have a bin full of cast off items like tp tubes and cardboard pieces waiting for transformation.

Anyway, the little angels are adorable!

Those angels are so cute! You make great stuff!
