oh how sweet! i bought some walnuts yesterday to crack in half and use for some crafty thing... how did you get them to crack to nicely, i am interested too. and, were you able to get the 'diamond' stamp off?

The Mister used a butter knife of all things to shimmy the walnut open. I don't advise it though.
Stephanie, I didn't try to get the diamond stamp off yet, but I was pretty disappointed when I opened the bag and saw the stamps. I don't remember them doing this in the past.

The sleeping mouse is soooooooo sweet!
It seems we are luckier in Europe that we dont have stamps on walnuts......but soils. :)

Aww that's so cute! My mum and I make these only instead of sewing up a little fabric head we use an acorn and draw a face on. What an adorable twist this is though!
