Buddy: Mommy, did you make this apple for me?
Me: Sorry Bud, I made it for someone else. Do you want me to make one for you?
B: Yes! Yes!
M: Okay.
B: No! Wait! Not an apple, a pumpkin.
M: A pumpkin? All right.
B: No! No! Wait. Three pumpkins. A big one, a middle size one, and a little one.
M: You want three?
B: Yes. It will take you a long time Mommy, but I can wait.
M: Um okay... So three pumpkins. Anything else?
B: Yes. I want them to have faces. Write this down so you don't forget. The big one will have a mad face, the middle size one will have a sad face, and the little one will have a happy face. Okay?
M: Okay bossy-boss, I got it.
The next day...
M: Hey Bud, I'm done with your pumpkins. What do you think?
B: Cooooool! Thank you, thank you Mommy!
Runs off shouting...
B: Yeah! Now I have something to throw!!

LOL...
Wish your Buddy would tell you why he wanted you to get him three pumpkins.
These days, my son doesn't ask for pumpkins anymore for Halloween.
Years go by too fast.
Enjoy Buddy's childhood while you can. :)
