Little lion, elephant, monkey
So there's possibly nothing more boring on a craft blog than posting about how busy you are and how you have no time to post but um, well I've been really busy and er, you get the picture. Anyway, I don't have anything new to share right now because of the busy-ness but I hate pictureless posts so here's a past project I don't think I posted before.

These little linen pouches were made for the Crafters Companion Book that I was fortunate to be a part of almost two years ago. I only provided a pattern for the elephant for the book but I decided to make the lion and monkey one too and sent them along with the elephant to be photographed for the book.

They all evolved from these pouches, which look a lot different from these. They're all actually the same size but the lion one looks really small here and even in person, I think it's because of the mane.

Gotta go, back soon!

I love your animal pouches! Can't get over that cute lil' elephant trunk!

boy do I understand that being-too-busy thing! just wanted to let you know that no matter how busy you are, I still *love* your blog :) Especially your patterns! I made a reindeer gift card pouch as a christmas gift and now I'm making chibi bunnies for a baby shower, thank you for such adorable patterns and inspiration!

I do like those pouches! I've made a few for my friends (I have the book!) and came up with a frog version a little bigger to carry my camera in! :)

they're so cool - they all look like they could be characters from the same book! I especially love the elephant - perfect fabric - embroidery on all of them is superb!! :)

They are wonderful kid pouches. Just add straps to make them knapsacks and you have kids wearing them almost everytime, I imagine. :)
