Once again I'm up way too late working on a project when I really should be in bed. I read an article the other day about a study that said people who are chronically sleep deprived may eventually lose the ability to catch up on lost sleep. I usually try to make up for my late nights on the weekends but I have to agree that lately I'm just not feeling rested. I keep telling myself to go to sleep at a reasonable hour but it's so hard when I get engrossed in something and know that if I stop it'll be another 20 to 22 hours before I can start it up again. Damn that pesky day job.
Anyway, back to my little WIP. I've been working on something over the holidays that I hope to finish and reveal next week. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that time will be on my side.
One last thing, I keep meaning to post about these videos I found a while back via Drawn. It's the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh and it's awesome. Buddy's crazy about it too, and even though it's all in Russian we watch it at least once a week. It's worlds different than the Disney version in just about every way and in my opinion, tons better. You have to check it out. Here's the first part , and you can find parts II, III, IV, here, here, and here. Dosvydanya!

Thank you so much for this post!
I grew up watching this cartoon - and it's still my favorite!
Disney just made me cringe when I see how stupid Winnie is and how generic the style has become.
Here's to the Russian Winnie the Pooh!

Ooh the glimpse of the little doll is very tantalizing! Makes me want to drop everything and make a small doll myself!

yep - am with you on the day job resentment too. Gets in the way something awful!
Hope you manage to sort out the sleep deprivation. Is used as a form of torture you know...
