Never met a dango that I didn't like

You have to head on over to Giant Jeans Parlor because this has to be the coolest thing I've seen in a while! Now I'm desperately fighting the urge to spend the weekend playing with mud. In case you want to give it a go, I found a pretty detailed how-to with video here and a neat Japanese site with a cute song ("I made a dorodango! I made a dorodango! I'm so happy!). Click on the side bar for more pics.

Amazing!

Don't fight the urge! Play in the mud!

I read this post last night, and can't stop thinking about these. Dang it! I don't need another craft right now.

I nnnneeeed to make a mud ball!!!!!

Wow, now next time my boys are up to their elbows in the brown stuff, I might just join in!

i found a neat link. apparently "tomy" sells a boxed kit for making dorodango. anyway, here's a funny link w/ two kids demonstrating the kit. there's a link at the end of each page to click on. there are several pages to see, but it is worth it. the kids are funny :]

Oooo, that IS cool! I just want to know how dirt can get shiny! I read the instructions. Ok, I skimmed through them, but it's weird how it can get so shiny. But I like them. :)
