How's your week going? We're experiencing some stormy blustery weather this week. We lost power for a couple of hours yesterday and the trees are taking a beating with all the Kona winds, but nothing no where near as bad as the crazy weather everyone's been having elsewhere. Anyway, just a quick post full of some link love.
Remember Komaneko? I posted about it last fall and you can still watch all the videos on youtube. Well somebody was kind enough to post a Japanese television show that features a behind the scenes look at the making of these sweet videos, including shots of the props and the scale of the sets. Amazing stuff! I would love to try stop animation someday. (Note: they don't start talking about Komaneko until about 2 minutes into Part 1).
Not related at all to Komaneko, but definitely worth a look:
Ketty Sean's hip hop amigurumi make me smile a lot!(Click on doll and plush, it takes a little while to load). I love MC Fly and Hibou Flavor Flave.
I'm sure there's already been lots of blog posts about knitting designer Donna Wilson, but her work is new to me. Her creatures are so fun. Love, love Rudi Racoon! And I better start learning to tolerate tea because I need to have her Poodle tea cozy.
So much for a quick post!
