My worker monkey complained to me the other day that he was feeling stressed out and needed help with his job. So last night I got him an assistant.
Normally, I wouldn't be able to afford another employee, but this guy works for peanuts.

Myra, those are so cute I can hardly stand it. I love all the details--the stitches across the elephant's trunk, the pinkness in his ears--that make him perfect.

Your elephant is ADORABLE!! I love the fabric you lined him with, too. So fortuitous that you were able to find two employees who were willing to work for peanuts. ;-) Those union monkeys can get very demanding if they're stressed out, so I'm glad you were able to appease him with fantastically cute Worker Elephant. ;-) Take care, Myra! :-)

I love the elephant - especially his smile! The fabric in the background is the same fabric that my daughter's first birthday dress was made from, but in a different colorway. Do you know what brand it is? I'd love to buy some somewhere. Any info. on the selvedge? Thanks!

what a charming little duo! Remember that monkey pouch I made so long ago? At that time, I also cut out about 4 other different animals and they are still waiting for me to stitch them together and add the magic! I'm thinking it was like...a year ago!
YOWZAA!
