I made these panda cupcakes for Buddy's class last night. They didn't really come out how I envisioned, but seeing them all together like a little panda army is satisfaction enough for me.
I used white chocolate and mini chocolate chips for the eyes and mini oreo cookies for the ears. I first tried using black Wilton's icing for the eye patches, but the black icing was kinda scary and bled into the white, so I ended up using chocolate frosting instead. I wanted all the patches to be uniform in size and shape, but my pasty bag piping leaves much to be desired. Practice makes perfect right?

HA.
I am so going to make these.
And the monkey ones too.
And eat them all myself.

Those are so cute! When Molly was little, I used to make gingerbread (boy & girl) cookies, decorated and personalized for each of her classmates. (We're a little nuts, aren't we? lol)

Oh those are so cute! I can't imagine what you envisioned that could possibly be more adorable. Besides, if all the eye patches were uniform, they wouldn't each have their own Panda-personalities - and their individuality makes them super cute. I WANT one!

Those are beautiful panda cupcakes! Lately I've been feeling really accomplished if I can just make cupcakes, not necessarily even frost them! I know what it's like to have some other picture in your head, but even if these don't fit your head-picture, really they're wonderful! I bet that Max would love to be in Buddy's class!

That is so much work--but worth it, because those cupcakes are just too adorable!
