Soon my family and I will be embarking on the pilgrimage of all pilgrimages. We will be flying across the country to not the holiest, but the happiest place in the world. That's right - Disney World. We are going to celebrate my Dad's birthday as he will be 70 this year. And according to our official Disney World handbook, groups of 3 or more are required by Disney law to wear matching shirts.
Yes, we will be among the masses of matching shirt wearing Disney-goers, taking group shots with Mickey in our matching shirts, riding rides in our matching shirts and eating over priced Disney food in our matching shirts. This is the design I created for the shirts (note: the names have been changed to protect the pilgrims - my code name is "Zoey"). I drew it in AutoCad which is a drawing software mainly used by engineers and architects and not the best software for this sorta thing, but it worked out okay. Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day.

soooo cute! I feel like im watching a twisted version of the Mickey Mouse Club
Fact: mickey's birthday is november 18th

Groups of three or more has to wear matching shirts??
That can't be true... I was just there and we were three!:-)
Good job on the handbook, anyways. We went withouth one and that was hell (we got one there eventually). Prepare for foodlines, everywhere. You can't walk up and ask for a table anywhere - you need reservations at least a day ahead, and at some popular resturants, weeks ahead:-(
Also - food is EXPENSIVE. Sigh.
You can look at my photos from Disney this April at Flickr if you like: http://www.flickr.com/photos/elin/
Go and see the Cirque du Soleil while you're there - it is fantastic. My best memory from Disneyworld! http://www.CirqueduSoleil.com
Have fun~~!

Love the shirt design! Groups of 3 or more!!! That's totally ridiculous - I hope the same isn't true at Disneyland, because we've certainly broken that rule!

See, now THAT's the kind of matching shirts I can get behind. Not just the lame color coordinated ones.
Autocad is my fave tool.

under normal circumstances, i'd be hiding from the family member handing out matching t-shirts, but if i got to wear one with that adorable design, i'd be the first one in line! so cute -- great job.
