I made these bonnet bunny pins for Buddy's teachers using small straw hats and paper clay. The bunny in the middle is darker because I antiqued him. I tried to do the same to the other two but it turned out awful. I left the antiqueing gel on too long and instead of coming out nice and antiquey they just looked like dirty little bunnies. So I repainted them white, and decided that white they shall stay. Here's a close up:

Those are absolutely adorable! I haven't encountered this paper clay before; you definitely work magic with it!

too cute! i've bought a ton of lil straw hats for something like this, but have never gotten around to making anything with them.
i hope his teachers loved em :)
